Enter the National Jewish Outreach Program's First-Ever Great Shofar Blast-Off!
Are you the best shofar blower in the America?
As anyone who has tried knows, blowing the shofar is no easy task. Who is the Greatest American Shofar Blower? Who produces the clearest sound? The longest note? The most traditionally accurate blast?
The National Jewish Outreach Program wants to find out, and is inviting shofar-blowers from across the country to enter National Jewish Outreach Program's first-ever "Great Shofar Blast-Off!"
Contest will be held in Herald Square (in front of Macy's) on September 22.
All entries must be postmarked by August 31st.
Contestants must submit a Video or DVD. Audio tape entries will not be accepted.

Grand Prize is a Trip for Two to Israel!
So if there is someone that blows the shofar every year in your shul, if you are the shofar blower every year at the local hospital or nursing home, or if there is anyone else you think deserves the recognition, please let them know about our upcoming contest. I'm not so good, but it sounds like a cool concept.
One critique, you say "are you the best shofar blower in THE america?" and I think that may be a typo.
